Once you take out a Domestic Appliance Guard plan, it starts immediately. However, there's a 30-day waiting period before you can make a claim. This is to prevent claims on existing issues and to help keep costs low. You don't have to wait 30 days for us to service your boiler, though.

Boiler cover is essentially a type of protection for your boiler. If your boiler runs into any issues, this cover aims to guard you from unexpected costs. Sometimes you might hear people call it 'boiler breakdown cover', 'central heating cover' or even 'gas boiler cover'.

Big problems (like a water leak): we aim to have someone there in 2 to 4 hours.

Regular problems: if you report it before 9am, we aim to sort it the same day. Otherwise, we aim to be there within 24 hours.

If a vulnerability is established: we'll always aim to speed things up and be there in 2 hours.

Absolutely! Our boiler cover plans are designed for homeowners and landlords whose properties are heated using natural gas, oil or LPG. We proudly offer cover for boilers regardless of their age and irrespective of the manufacturer.

The call-out fee is the amount you'll pay for each completed repair. When you purchase your cover, you can select your preferred call-out fee. Our available options are £0, £60 or £95.

£0 call-out fee: you won't pay any excess for a completed repair.

£60 call-out fee: you'll be charged £60 for every completed repair.

£95 call-out fee: you'll be charged £95 for every completed repair.

You never pay a call-out fee for an annual boiler service, and if no repair is undertaken, you won't be charged a call-out fee.

After you pick one of our plans, we'll let you know when your boiler's due for a check. When it's time, we'll contact you to set up a date that works for you. Easy as that!

We check your boiler and heating to make sure they're safe and working well. Our team looks for leaks, any damage, and wear. We also run safety checks, like making sure your boiler isn't releasing bad gases. If you have a service due as part of your cover, we'll tell you when it's time. If not, you can book a one-off boiler service for £99.
